The Modern Language that we focus on at Whaddon School is French!
We are very blessed to have staff with strong knowledge of French and also a French Club which runs every Thursday with an external teacher.
Children in KS2 are given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in other languages in order to help them continue to grow their cultural capital and prepare them for being world wise citizens!

How we feel about French:
"French club is fun, we do songs and the teacher makes sure we are confident. With Mr. Small we do so many things, I like describing and going deeper." Foxes.
"I love French! Learning different languages is great, it's funny that they work differently, like that words are boys or girls." Badgers.
"I like singing the songs and games and all the people and I like the French teacher, and everything about French!" Squirrels (club).
